About
I grew up in Lancaster County in the small town of Columbia, Pennsylvania.
Hi, I am Mary Catharine Sneider, D.O. As the daughter of two high school teachers, I aspired to be a teacher and follow in their footsteps, but I became interested in medicine while at Immaculata University.
After graduation from college in 2000, I attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I pursued further practical training in my residency program in Family Medicine at Christiana Care in Wilmington, Delaware. While at Christiana, I met my husband Chris, who was also in his residency. We soon married and moved to Carlisle, PA to start our medical careers.
My path began as a physician with Carlisle Family Care.
I remained in that position for about six years until we began our family. With two beautiful girls to consider, it made sense to transition to urgent care. A great deal of professional and personal growth has occurred over the past several years. When presented with the opportunity to continue the legacy of a respected family doctor nearing retirement, I knew I had to step up.
Your Health represents a practice style that has been taking shape since I received my medical degree in 2004.
Your Health represents a practice style that has been taking shape since I received my medical degree in 2004. Without necessarily realizing it, all of my experiences, most notably, those with my patients, have molded me into the doctor I am today. Time and experience has helped me develop, in my opinion, the best strategy for giving and receiving medical care. Patients want a trusted advisor who is familiar, accessible, attentive and engaged. As a patient of this practice,
I believe I can be that doctor for you.
Sincerely,
Mary Catharine Sneider, D.O.
